Wake Up Your BODY

Do you ever feel lazy, lethargic, in a bad mood, sad, stressed out? 


Fueling your body with 5-6 small meals a day will increase your metabolism and energy.  This process will allow you to burn fat and provide your body with energy needed to maintain your blood sugar levels. 

Maintaining your blood sugar levels or Blood Glucose Levels is very important for weight loss. This alone will wake your body up.  Your probably thinking what is blood sugar levels or glucose. This is Sugar in which is found in your blood stream.

Why do we need this? Well for a few reasons.

It’s a main source of energy for the cells in your body. Imagine without energy how your body would react.

How does our body obtain this?

Glucose (Sugar) travels from Intestines or liver to cells riding in bloodstream.  Mr. or Mrs. Pancreas produce a HORMONE called Insulin which allows cells to absorb this yummy Glucose.  When you wake up in the morning your body gives you a signal to EAT, EAT, EAT due to your Blood sugar levels being very low.  After eating you elevate your blood sugar levels and you have energy for your body to function.  Now after a few hours your blood sugar begins to drop.   When eat the following foods this drop can pretty substantial:

  1. Processed Foods
  2. Sugars
  3. Greasy foods
  4. High sodium foods
  5. Simple Carbohydrates

If your body spikes high and then very low throughout the day then your body is going to hold on to FAT.   Skipping meals will keep this pattern going for a longer time causing you to become lazy, tired, and dead to the world.  Fueling your body with Healthy foods every 3-4 hours will maintain your blood sugar levels and keep you alive and awake.
